Phd Grant in Communications in DCU, Ireland

The School of Communications at DCU is one of the top Communications departments in Europe. It is a vibrant, outward-looking department that combines intensive research activity with the strongest commitment to high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Our staff are committed to producing cutting-edge research across a range of (inter)disciplinary fields including (new) media studies, media history, journalism studies, science communication, political communication, social media studies, film and television studies, music industry studies, advertising, and cultural studies. In the past five years, we have supported approximately 40 doctoral students to achieve PhD awards through this scheme. The School now has an opening for up to five funded PhD scholarships. University of South Australia, VC & President's Scholarship 

The Vice Chancellor and President's Scholarships are awarded each year to the top two PhD scholarship recipients in each Division at the University of South Australia. Eight scholarships are awarded per annum. The award is valued at $10,000 and supports recipients whose research project exemplifies the objectives of the Transformed PhD and who can demonstrate how they would use the scholarship to further these objectives. These may include, but are not limited to: overseas and domestic trips for the purpose of collecting data with an end user or industry partner, engaging with an end user from government, industry and/or community on the research project activities that broaden the student’s focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, transferable skills development opportunities to present their research at a conference The Vice Chancellor and President’s Scholarship will provide funding towards the research project activities identified in the candidate’s application and approved

50 Post graduate Scholarships for International Students in Italy

This Call for Applications is addressed to a maximum of 50 international candidates, not residing in Italy, applying for a Visa at Italian Embassies or Consulates with a foreign degree released in a foreign country, willing to be enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme LANGUAGES FOR COMMUNICATION IN INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISES AND ORGANIZATIONS (LACOM) for the academic year 2017/2018. New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships (NZIDRS)

Purpose of award The scholarship aims to attract and retain the best international researchers to New Zealand. The scholarship provides full tuition fees and a living stipend for up to 3 years.
