Macquarie University holds two main HDR scholarship rounds offering University and Commonwealth Government funded scholarships. One round is for domestic candidates and one round for international candidates. Click here to apply HDR scholarships Macquarie University Research Training Program scholarships (MQRTP, domestic or iMQRTP, international) The Macquarie University Research Training Program scholarship (MQRTP) scheme allocates funds annually to to attract and support high quality domestic and international research candidates to undertake research primarily in the University's identified strategic priority areas, as well as the broader University community. Domestic students receive tuition fees under the Australian Government RTS scheme.

DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIPS PROVIDED BY THE INTERFACULTY COUNCIL FOR DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION (IRO)

As one of its contributions to development cooperation,every academic year KU Leuven selects exceptional students from developing countries as scholarship candidates to obtain their PhD from the largest university of Flanders, Belgium.
