ENERGY REVOLUTION AFRICA

New for 2017 African Utility Week is the Energy Revolution Africa.

This programme will help you answer questions such as:

  • The Road towards the full African revolution: The road so far and what kind of changes can we already detect in the industry?
  • How smart should a grid be in Africa?  Are smart mini grids the answer?
  • How should utilities adapt to the roll out of new energy technologies and mini-grids
(In order to embrace a clean and prosperous energy future for all, we must consciously write-off some of the knowledge and assets we have worked so hard to establish over the past 100 years and start building new, better solutions at scale right now. )

Energy Revolution Africa is a way to explore the transitioning energy landscape in Africa, where green innovations and disruptive technologies allow for the quick rollout of integrated microgrid energy solutions. With a focus on sub-10MW projects, Energy Revolution Africa will provide a unique platform for solution providers to meet with the new energy purchasers – metros and municipalities, IPPs, rural electrification project developers and large power users, including mines, commercial property developers, and industrial Manufacturers.
