30 Fully Financed PhD Fellowships at Aarhus University in Denmark, 2017



Aarhus University is offering 30 fully financed PhD fellowships and research training supplements. Both fully financed PhD fellowships granted and research training supplements will be allocated within the Faculty of Health Scienceat Aarhus University, where the PhD student will be employed.

All applicants must document English language qualifications comparable to an ‘English B level’ in the Danish upper secondary school (‘gymnasium’).
Course Level: Fellowships are available for pursuing PhD programme.
Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded within the Faculty of Health Science.
Scholarship Award: The types of fellowships the Graduate School will offer in the different rounds of 2017 are as follows:
  • 30 fully financed PhD fellowships (divided between integrated and ordinary PhD fellowships)
  • A number of Research training supplements (DKK 550,000)
Number of Scholarships: There are 30 fully financed PhD fellowships available.
Scholarship can be taken in Denmark
Eligibility: To apply for a 3-year PhD study programme students must have completed a relevant Master’s degree. The Master’s study has to be equivalent to a Danish Master’s degree of 120 ECTS – if you have any doubt you can submit your diplomas for an assessment via graduateschoolhealth-at-au.dk.
Nationality: Citizens of all nationalities are eligible to apply.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: All applications will be evaluated based on the submitted material using the following criteria. The time for research experience after the qualifying exam is taken into consideration.
English Language Requirement: All applicants must document English language qualifications comparable to an ‘English B level’ in the Danish upper secondary school (‘gymnasium’).

How to Apply: The application and all mandatory attachments, incl. the project description, must be in English. If the project description is not in English, the application will be rejected by the administration.
